My tutoring philosophy is that everyone can get good grades with a change in attitude and the willingness to put in the work. When I was in high school, I began to wonder if a B I received on my report card could instead have been an A in the class, and I decided I would work to get straight A's in all my classes for the rest of my school career. It wasn't a matter of being academically gifted, but of putting time into thoroughly studying the subjects. That shift in my own perspective has also made me want to tutor students so they, too, can build the confidence in their intelligence after seeing what hard work and good study habits will do for them. As a graduate from the University of Georgia with an undergraduate degree in Microbiology, I, of course, have extensive knowledge of math and science subjects. I also tutor in standardized and college test preparation. I've worked as a tutor since 2010, and I love helping my students achieve their goals. When I'm not working as a tutor, I'm working toward becoming a dental student. I also enjoy soccer and other sports, as well as watching movies - especially comedy!
